DD's Pre-Training Camp PredictionsWow great post DD, you put a lot of work into this. I have a few comments and questions. You think Aaron Rodgers can step in and take Green Bay to the Conference Finals in his 1st year? Thats a gutsy call. I grew up in the Bay Area so I got to watch Rodgers at Cal, I think he will be a good NFL QB, but with all the distractions he is facing right now I think it will be hard for him and the Packers to build on last years great season. The Jets go 9-7. With which QB? I know they signed a lot of big name free agents this year, but if your a team that won't pick a starting QB until the end of training camp I can't see a 5 game turn around. If your right and the Jets make the playoffs and the Browns don't I will take all your future predictions as gospel. If Jonathan Stewart wins offensive rookie of the year then the Panthers make the playoffs. With a solid running game to take the pressure off Jake Delhome the Panthers will be a force, plus this is John Fox's put up or shut up year. If Payton Manning is the Offensive Player of the year then the Colts finish better than 9-7. Their defense will be better this year than years past, so if Manning is lighting other teams up week in and week out then the Colts will finish 13-3/12-4. Personally I think Bardy wins MVP again and the Colts finish 11-5/10-6. |

DD's Pre-Training Camp Predictionsnice post NFL, I fixed up the Ravens thing... late at night is not a great time to be posting such important info. Seems like we basically agree on the divisional ranks of each team though

DD's Pre-Training Camp PredictionsWhoa DD, think you covered everything? Ok, so who's coach of the year? And how do the Ravens miss playing 2 games? Anyhow, I'm not touching the pro bowl predictions, but these are where I differ: AFC Raiders 4-12 Cowboys 10-6 I'll have to think on it more to refine it and come up with the rest SB etc. |
